Elk Grove Village, Illinois · Industrial modernization

Electrical work for the next stage of your Elk Grove Village facility.

Moving into an industrial space, adding machinery, or modernizing an established building starts with understanding what can stay and what must change. LH Block supports commercial and industrial projects from our Bartlett office.

Built around your facility

Modernization starts with the existing installation.

Elk Grove Village’s established business park is a focus of municipal revitalization planning. The Village adopted Envision Elk Grove in April 2025, including corridor design and redevelopment considerations. For an individual facility, the electrical decisions still need to be based on the building, proposed use, and equipment—not on a general assumption that every older property needs a larger service.

For an industrial move or new occupancy

Compare the equipment list with available electrical documentation before finalizing a layout. Identify suitable existing distribution, missing information, and any new installation needed for the intended use.

For an operating manufacturer or warehouse

Treat equipment additions, lighting, and future expansion as connected planning questions. Separate immediate requirements from possible later work so the first scope has clear priorities.

Before you request an estimate

Before committing to the move-in schedule.

Ask what the building already provides, what your equipment requires, and which responsibilities belong to the landlord, contractor, or equipment supplier.

Discuss the scope
  1. Gather machine schedules, manufacturer electrical requirements, and proposed equipment locations.
  2. Request available service and distribution drawings from the owner or property manager.
  3. Clarify reuse expectations, landlord improvements, and tenant installation responsibilities.
  4. Discuss lead times, utility involvement, inspections, and the sequence for restoring production.
Questions worth asking

A clearer scope starts with a conversation.

Can you help evaluate electrical reuse during a relocation?

We can review the existing information and installation. Our Palatine and Bloomingdale projects included practical reuse where equipment was suitable; the decision must be made for the specific project.

Do you perform internal machine repairs?

No. Our machinery scope is electrical supply and connections. The equipment manufacturer or appropriate specialist handles internal machine repairs and controls outside our scope.

Do you have an office in Elk Grove Village?

No. LH Block is based at our Bartlett office. Contact us with your Elk Grove Village location and scope to discuss the work and scheduling.
