LH Block Electric has supported EDM Intelligent Solutions, a precision manufacturing and advanced metrology company in Bartlett, Illinois, with electrical improvements to accommodate new production equipment, machinery relocations, and evolving facility requirements.
EDM operates in a specialized manufacturing environment utilizing advanced machining, laser, and robotic technologies that require dependable electrical power and properly configured equipment connections.
Since 2023, LH Block has completed multiple projects across the company's Bartlett facilities, adapting existing electrical infrastructure to support equipment additions, production changes, and facility improvements.
Supporting Specialized Manufacturing Equipment

Beyond production machinery, LH Block completed electrical improvements supporting the facility's compressed-air systems, testing equipment, and showroom operations.
Projects included electrical connections for industrial air compressors, installation of a transformer to supply 480-volt power for a 25-horsepower compressor, and new three-phase circuits for equipment testing and demonstration areas.
As production layouts evolved, our team also relocated electrical disconnects, modified power distribution pathways, and adapted equipment connections to accommodate machinery changes.
These improvements allowed the company to make effective use of its existing electrical infrastructure while supporting changing operational needs.
