A partnership built around a growing business
LH Block Electric has supported ER2 Image Group through relocation, expansion, and the changing electrical needs of an active production facility. The family-owned company specializes in grand-format printing, commercial signage, and custom visual graphics.
Our relationship began when the business operated as Signs By Tomorrow in Bloomingdale, Illinois. When the company moved its operations to Hanover Park, LH Block assisted with the electrical work needed to support the transition.
Power for specialized production
As ER2 introduced new equipment and adapted its workspace, our team provided electrical drawing preparation and revisions, distribution modifications, dedicated circuits, and equipment power connections.
One significant improvement added electrical distribution equipment for a new wide-format printer, with capacity for future equipment additions. Work was coordinated around ER2’s production schedule to help minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
Lighting across the facility
Our work has included warehouse and production lighting, additional task lighting for vehicle-wrap operations, and lighting maintenance. Networked controls for warehouse fixtures provide greater flexibility, with occupancy-based operation and energy-management features.
LH Block also coordinated available ComEd incentive opportunities for qualifying lighting-control improvements. Outside the building, our team installed the exterior lighting featured in the cover photo.
Level 2 charging for employees
LH Block installed a Level 2 electric vehicle charger for ER2 employees to use at the facility, adding workplace charging to the company’s electrical infrastructure.

Years of work at ER2 have given our team familiarity with the facility’s electrical systems and operating needs. That knowledge helps us plan practical equipment connections, repairs, lighting improvements, and infrastructure changes as the business evolves.
